Career History

Kelly joined the engineering industry in 1999 after graduating from Kansas State University. She has 9 years’ experience as a licensed design engineer with several local consulting firms. She then moved into Owners representation, working for several large owners requiring full-time engineer representation. As a part of the Facilities staff she worked closely with Maintenance departments to facilitate large complex engineering construction projects. Her interest in Commissioning began during her years as an owner’s representative after participating in several projects which utilized a Commissioning process. After seeing the impact commissioning had on the final product she knew Commissioning would be part of her future work. Kelly has experience in almost every construction project size from the smallest standalone building to complex campus systems. In her personal time Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband watching their three amazing children play sports.
